Description
The Hansen HFV25 25mm Foot Valve/Strainer is a high-efficiency water filtration and non-return system designed to sit at the end of a pump suction line. Manufactured in New Zealand, its primary purpose is to prevent fluid backflow when the pump is shut off, eliminating the need to prime the pump at every startup. Size & Thread: 25mm (1 inch) male connection using precision, heavy-duty BSPT (British Standard Pipe Tapered) threads. Maximum recommended working pressure of 16 Bar (1600 kPa / 235 PSI) at 20°C. Safely handles fluids up to 60°C. Delivers full, unrestricted flow with an overall operational efficiency exceeding 95%. Body made from high-strength, UV-stabilised glass-fibre reinforced nylon that resists weather, bacteria, and fungi. It incorporates a 302 stainless steel spring. Raw materials are completely approved for potable (drinkable) water systems.
