The Hansen HBU50 50mm Barrel Union is a heavy-duty, quick-connect plumbing fitting designed for fast pipe disconnection in tight spaces. It is widely used across New Zealand and Australia in agricultural, industrial, and residential water systems to isolate machinery for easy servicing. Maximum Pressure: 16 Bar (1600 kPa / 235 PSI) at 20°C. Flat-Face Slip Down Action: When you unwind the central common nut, the pipe work drops straight down horizontally. This lets you remove a pump or section of pipe without needing to slide or flex the surrounding pipe lines sideways. Specifically engineered to fit into cramped pump sheds, dairy setups, or tight irrigation enclosures where space is limited.
