Description
The Aquastrong EPS-01 Auto Flow 1.5 Bar is a digital electronic pressure controller manufactured by Aquastrong. It is primarily designed to automate single-phase surface water pumps, such as the AquaStrong 1HP Jet Pump. It monitors pipeline pressure and flow to switch the pump on and off without human intervention. The standard factory ratings and operational parameters for this electronic controller include: Starting Pressure: Fixed or preset to 1.5 bar (22 PSI) to trigger the pump when pressure drops. Electrical Capacity: Handles standard 220V - 240V AC power up to a maximum load of 10A or 1.1 kW (1.5 HP). Connection Plumbing: Standard G1" (25mm) male inlet and outlet threads. Can withstand an internal operational system pressure up to 10 bar. Rated IP65 weatherproofing to seal internal circuits against dust and water jets. Maximum Liquid Temperature: Rated safe for clean water transfer up to 55°C. Detects a total loss of incoming water and halts power to the pump motor. This prevents friction heat from warping the pump's internal plastic diffusers or burning out the motor windings. Anti-Cycling Control: Restricts the motor from rapid, repeated starting and stopping caused by small, hidden drip-leaks down the main water pipeline. Dual-Direction Mounting: Capable of handling flow orientation and installation configurations working either vertically or horizontally.
