The Esko AIR8 Multigas Respiratory Kit (Large, A8GRKCB-L) is a professional-grade safety solution designed to safeguard workers from multiple chemical, gas, and vapour hazards. This comprehensive kit provides Class 1 respiratory protection packaged inside a durable, plastic resealable container to maintain item hygiene between uses. It is widely used across New Zealand in trade and industrial environments. Kit Contents:- 1 x 8600 Half Face Respirator (Medium): Built from non-allergenic silicone with an adjustable head cradle and spandex straps. 2 x 8040 A1B1E1K1 Cartridge Filters: Sealed in a foil bag to protect against organic, inorganic, acid, and ammonia gases. 2 x 805 Respirator Cleaning Wipes: Specially designed hygiene wipes for maintaining the mask. Fully complies with the joint Australian/New Zealand safety standard AS/NZS 1716:2012 for respiratory protective devices. Exhalation System: Employs a fresh-flow exhalation valve that lowers breathing resistance while venting heat and moisture away. Ergonomically shaped to sit comfortably alongside safety glasses or face shields without causing lens fogging. Drop-Down Feature allows the wearer to unhook the mask quickly without removing their hardhat or headgear. The included A1B1E1K1 filters offer distinct protective barriers against various chemical hazards:- A: Organic gases and vapours with a boiling point above 65°C (e.g., solvents, thinners, lacquers). B: Inorganic gases and vapours (e.g., chlorine, hydrogen sulphide). E: Acid gases and vapours (e.g., sulphur dioxide). K: Ammonia and organic ammonia derivatives. The kit is ideal for workers handling tasks such as: Chemical handling and stripping. Industrial spray painting. Applying garden pesticides and glues. Plastic welding and fertiliser manufacture. Note: This mask must not be used in oxygen-deficient environments (less than 19.5% oxygen) or against gases with poor warning properties.
