Description
The Davies Cast Iron JET 154M Pump is a powerful, heavy-duty 1.5 HP single-phase jet-assisted pump. Stepping up from the 1.2 HP model, it features an upgraded industrial build - including a change from a stainless steel impeller to a stamped brass impeller - to deliver higher flow volumes and heavy pressures across demanding farm, agricultural, and large estate irrigation networks. Power Rating: 1.5 HP / 1.1 kW operating on a single-phase (1PH) 230V–240V, 50Hz supply. Heavy-duty Cast Iron G20 pump body with an integrated cast iron motor bracket (providing greater rigidity and heat dissipation than smaller models' aluminum brackets). Features a high-tensile AISI 304 stainless steel shaft, a cast iron diffuser, and a premium stamped brass impeller for improved wear resistance against high pressures. Built-in heavy internal venturi/ejector allows self-priming and lifts water up to 8 meters deep from low-lying sources. Motor Insulation & Safety: Class F insulation rated for continuous S1 duty, enclosed in an IP54-rated housing with an integrated auto-reset thermal overload protector. The shift to stamped brass in the JET 152-302 series (up from the stainless steel used in the 123M) makes the 154M much more structurally resilient against cavitation, friction heat, and high operational pressures. Its robust venturi design makes the pump uniquely forgiving if the intake line is slightly undersized or suffers from minor air bubbles, keeping it primed where standard multistage centrifugal pumps would lose suction and fault out. Sold as a bare pump, it is commonly pairing it with a high-capacity pressure tank or a high-pressure digital flow manager.
