The Solo 475 Backpack Sprayer (15 Litre) is a premium, German-engineered manual knapsack sprayer highly regarded by both commercial operators and serious home gardeners. Because it utilizes a diaphragm pump mechanism, it is uniquely suited for applying abrasive or corrosive solutions. Unlike piston-pump models (like the Solo 425), which can easily become scratched or damaged by gritty formulas, the Solo 475's diaphragm action easily passes small abrasive particles, suspensions, wettable powders, and marker dyes without damaging the pump assembly. It is built to operate reliably in lower to mid-range pressures. The foldaway pump handle can be easily swapped for either left or right-handed operators. The UV-resistant polyethylene tank is contoured to match the human back, distributing weight evenly when paired with the wide, padded shoulder straps Comes standard with both a flat fan nozzle (for area coverage) and a hollow cone nozzle (for targeted spot treatment). The patented hand-piece is fully repairable, and the large top opening features a removable basket strainer for debris-free filling.
